The German kitchen manufacturer bulthaup selected IFA to collaborate on the redesign of its SoHo showroom for the launch of their new product line. The solution began by moving the office area west to take advantage of natural light. A lower height circulation/service spine connects the office to a meeting area at the opposite end of the space. Vertically cantilevered display walls echo bulthaup’s new cantilevered cabinet system. The space, finished as a white gallery-like box, focuses attention on the exquisite craftsmanship of the cabinetry. With our careful monitoring of construction, the 4,500 square-foot project was open for business just three months after the project was conceived.
